How Liberal Arts Degrees Can Lead to a High-Paying Career

Is studying liberal arts a one-way ticket to Barista-ville? Not necessarily, according to "Money." The magazine recently spoke to Rally Chief People Office Tom Perrault about what subjects you should study if you want a high-tech salary, referencing his earlier article in the "Harvard Business Review," Why Digital Companies Need More Liberal Arts Majors.

"Employers are asking for people with the ability to communicate clearly, think strategically, and be an analytical problem solver," said Perrault, who suggested that liberal arts majors participate in activities outside of class and demonstrate leadership skills to improve their chances in the job market.
